Are You Stuck?

Do you ever feel stuck when you have a lot of things to do?

You have a list a mile wide but you keep checking Facebook every 30 seconds without realizing it:).

If so, you aren’t alone.

The last 14 days a lot more has been added to your plate.

-Your office space is now your home

-You’ve become a home school teacher

-You are eating out more because it’s now hard to get groceries

-Your mental health is challenged due to being around your kids and pets 24/7 with no break!

This on top of the normal list you have to do daily.

That seems kind of overwhelming doesn’t it?

Well I have GOOD NEWS, this too shall pass.

I know you are thinking, “duh, but that doesn’t change my circumstances right now.”

You’d be correct.

I’m going to share with you 4 simple things you can do today to help you manage your stress and improve your health.

Now more than ever, we need to double down on our health!

1.) Get at least 7 hours of sleep-getting enough sleep will help you have a better mood, not overeat, and help boost your immune system.

2.) Make the healthier choice when eating out-going to the grocery store isn’t easy for many of us right now. You have to do the best with what you’ve got. Choose healthier option on the take out menu. This will help your mood, how your body feels, and help keep off the lbs.

3.) Make time for yourself-you need breaks throughout the day. Find something that helps you relax and do that daily. For my wife it’s taking a relaxing bath. I put the kids to bed and she sits in quiet reading a book or watching a show while taking a bath to help her unwind.

4.) Move Daily-make sure you are working out, going for a bike ride, taking a walk, etc. Get outside and get some movement. This will help you have more vitamin D to boost your immune system, improve your mood, and burn some calories.

This season we are in will pass.

The choices you make now will either help or hinder you when this is all over.

What choice will you make?

I have been working with Marc for almost two years. He has been extremely effective in reducing neurogenic pain in my hips and knees. In addition, he has worked on my balance and overall strength which was in serious need of attention. Marc is very responsive to designing exercise strategies to meet **your** specific goals and needs. I highly recommend Marc if you are looking for an exercise physiologist or trainer.

After many tried and failed programs either online or in a public gym or CG, I finally have a program I have stuck w consistantly for over a year. At the year mark, I even decided that I loved going to UPT so much, I upped my sessions from 2x to 3x a week. Now, I am sad if I miss a session. My pain is gone. I was a chronic pain patient for over 10 years with various issues causing said pain. Marc's knowledge of how muscles work and how to guide them back to their proper place is pretty cool. When he asks how your body is feeling, he expects you to tell him if something is off so he can help and prevent further injury. Plus... he tells corny dad jokes.
