Do you know that your wallet may be causing you back pain?
That’s what I found out when I met with my client Jose, a couple of weeks ago.
His left hip would always feel substantially tighter than his right.
After every training session with me, he would notice a substantial relief in his hips.
When he’d drive back home the pain would come back.
As he was telling me about this, I noticed him removing his wallet from his back pocket.
I asked him “do you normally keep your wallet in your left back pocket?”
He said, “yes I do. I’ve done that for most of my life.”
A light bulb moment happened and we solved his issue for his low back pain.
When you sit for even 30 minutes with your wallet in your back pocket, it causes one hip to sit higher than the other putting more stress on your spine.
This will cause your entire body to be out of alignment.
Many times this condition also leads to slumped shoulders which can cause neck, shoulder, and mid/upper back pain.
After we discovered this for Jose, he moved his wallet to his front pocket.
He’s had no pain since!
Complex problems sometimes result in simple solutions.
