I have been training with Marc at Ultimate Performance Training for over a year now and it truly has been a radical experience. First, I have lost over 60 lbs! It’s so easy to stop caring about your physical appearance. But you should never stop caring about your HEALTH. When I realized I genuinely couldn’t keep up just running around a field with my daughters, I was so embarrassed and ashamed. Out of breath from a 30 second jog. I still have a ways to go before I’m happy with my health, but just checking in to say, it’s hard work but it pays off. I’ve been training with Ultimate Performance Training, for over 5 months. Marc said something to me the other day that is the core of his training regiment (for me at least) He said “My goal is to have you feel better when you leave then when you arrived” AND that he does! He is in tune with how hard I can push and always takes the time to help my aching neck, back and hips feel better before I leave.
He truly cares about the stressors I have (pets, sleep – and lack thereof, public speaking, family losses etc). He is quick to encourage, always has a positive attitude and lets me know how strong I’m getting (even on days when I don’t feel it). He took the time to send me a workout when I was going to be out of town. He shows me stretches to help me on days I don’t train. I have had back surgery, seen chiropractors, sports injury doctors, massage therapists etc. over the years without any lasting relief.
Marc noticed something in the way I stand, told me try a simple movement and within a week my lower back felt 1000 X’s better.
I say all this to let everyone know, this trainer has been enormous! I HIGHLY recommend his services to everyone who wants to feel better (and lose a few pounds in the process!)

Turning 57 last summer, I set a goal for myself to work on building back some of the strength and range of motion I had when I was younger. My goal in partnering with Ultimate Performance Training was to commit the time I had remaining before my wedding (about 6 months) toward getting on a consistent workout schedule and building muscle tone. I have tried working out on my own, but, unfortunately, doing so can be discouraging and all too easy to give up on. The accountability aspect of this training and Marc’s personal investment in my overall well-being were incredibly helpful. “I play a lot of tennis and have always done various sorts of exercise. But never personal training. An acquaintance turned me on to Marc at UPT and it has been a blast working with him for the past few months.
I love to play tennis, run and do a variety of exercise classes. In the last couple years though, I have gained a bit of unwanted pounds and I felt like I was weaker in general with various aches and pains. (Hip, shoulder, foot and neck pain) It seemed like the more I tried to exercise, the more little injuries popped up.
Marc has been great for me. I tend to overdo things, exercise being one of them. Marc has taught me that I don’t have to kill myself in the effort of seeing great results. I don’t have to do a million crunches, pulling neck muscles in the process, to get my core the way I want it to look.
