Yesterday as we were getting ready for church, my six year old son Jeremiah came downstairs and was dressed like this:).
Those of you who’ve met Jeremiah know he loves to dress as characters.
One of his Christmas presents was a Santa costume. He was so excited to put it on and show his friends at church.
Needless to say, he was the only person dressed in a costume at church and he didn’t care.
He was extremely happy and confident in who he is.
That’s a wonderful lesson for us to remember as we enter the new year.
Be confident in who you are and don’t try to measure yourself against others.
Too many times we get defeated and stop pursuing our goals because we compare ourselves to others.
There’s only one you.
You get to make the choice how in shape you are, how much money you make, how well you parent your kids, what your attitude looks like.
Stop looking at social media and being frustrated because your life isn’t as perfect as Tom or Lisa (there’s isn’t that perfect either:).
Be confident in who you are!
Take massive action daily, be consistent, and have accountability.
Do those things, and you will reach your goals.
