Do you find yourself constantly snacking and eating everything in sight?
If so, you aren’t alone.
Most of our anxiety levels are at an all-time high!
Not to mention that we are stuck inside all day working from home and also now home school teachers:).
We desperately want to get out of the house, hang out with friends, and have our kids be back in school.
Unfortunately that’s not the case right now.
Instead we find comfort in what’s available in our pantry and fridge.
This can lead to unwanted weight gain:(.
Today I’m going to share with you 3 simple things to help you not over indulge with snacking.
1.) Stay Hydrated-are you getting at least 100oz. of water a day? If not, dehydration will lead to false hunger cravings. Staying hydrated helps you stay fuller longer. It will also help your digestive system remove waste and give you more energy!
2.) Have easy access to healthy food-many times we snack on healthy things because of easy access. Cut up some veggies and fruit and put them in a bag or container in your fridge. That should be the first thing you see when you open the door. Put your unhealthier items in the back of the fridge and/or pantry. Out of sight, out of mind.
3.) Choose an activity that doesn’t involve chewing-many times a hunger craving is psychological and not physical. Go do an activity that you love for 15-20 minutes and see if they hunger craving is still there. Chances are your hunger craving will go away.
These 3 simple steps will help you not over indulge with snacking.
