How Tommy Boy Keeps You Healthy

Do you know what yesterday was?

It was the 25th anniversary of one of the greatest comedies of all-time!

Amazon.com: ArtDirect Tommy Boy FRAMED 27x40 Movie Poster: Chris ...

I’ve got so many memories of my brother and I watching that on VHS growing up and quoting lines from it non-stop.

My favorite scene of all-time is Chris Farley describing what it looks like to use the “other guys” brake pads:).

This past week I’ve been giving you tips on how to boost your immune system and be healthier.

One of the best ways to do that is through laughter.

It decreases stress hormones, increases immune cells, and infection-fighting anti-bodies improving your resistance to disease.

Being at home with your family day and day out can be stressful.

It also provides a great opportunity to laugh!

In the spirit of April Fools Day below are three fantastic pranks to play on your family.

1.) Tape your kids cell phone to the bottom of the kitchen chair

Go into your kids room and grab their cell.

Tape it to the bottom of the kitchen chair.

After they sit down for breakfast, call their cell and enjoy watching them look for it:).

2.) Change into a completely different outfit every 30 minutes

Every 30 minutes change into a completely different outfit to mess with your family.

When they ask you “why are you wearing a different outfit?”

Look at them like they are crazy and have no idea what they are talking about:).

3.) Superglue coins to the ground

This is a good one to do with elementary age children (especially boys).

Superglue a couple of coins on your sidewalk.

Sit back and enjoy the show as your kids try to pick up the coins off of the ground:).

It’s especially fun watching boys do it because let’s face it, boys are dumber than girls.

Girls will figure it out faster than boys:).

Make it your goal today to laugh a lot!

Preferably with your loved one’s making memories:).

I have been working with Marc for almost two years. He has been extremely effective in reducing neurogenic pain in my hips and knees. In addition, he has worked on my balance and overall strength which was in serious need of attention. Marc is very responsive to designing exercise strategies to meet **your** specific goals and needs. I highly recommend Marc if you are looking for an exercise physiologist or trainer.

After many tried and failed programs either online or in a public gym or CG, I finally have a program I have stuck w consistantly for over a year. At the year mark, I even decided that I loved going to UPT so much, I upped my sessions from 2x to 3x a week. Now, I am sad if I miss a session. My pain is gone. I was a chronic pain patient for over 10 years with various issues causing said pain. Marc's knowledge of how muscles work and how to guide them back to their proper place is pretty cool. When he asks how your body is feeling, he expects you to tell him if something is off so he can help and prevent further injury. Plus... he tells corny dad jokes.
