Do you struggle with making time for yourself?
This is a common complaint I hear from clients, especially busy moms!
Many times they struggle with feelings of guilt if they do anything for themselves.
Showering, doing your hair, going to the bathroom in peace makes them feel like they’ve done something for themselves.
In reality, they are just taking care of their basic needs.
Continuing this cycle leads to burnout, stress, adrenal failure, and a whole host of other issues.
If you are a parent, business owner, and/or have a ton of responsibilities it’s hard to make time for yourself.
As a busy father of 3, who owns his own business, I’m tired a lot and struggle with this issue:).
I’ve got a lot of people relying on me daily.
For me to be my best, I have to carve out time for myself or I will go INSANE!
I’m sure a lot of you can relate to this:).
If you struggle with guilt by making time for yourself, I want to help you to change your mindset.
When you make time for yourself, you will be healthier mentally and physically.
This will give you more energy to get things done and help others.
You will have more patience, grace, and joy in service.
How do you do this?
Brainstorm and write down things you love and want to get back to doing.
Things like working out, reading a book outside, and taking a long relaxing bath, are good places to start.
Look at your calendar and start scheduling this in.
Make it a non-negotiable that you will start doing this, just like you’d make your doctors appointment.
This is just as important as any appointment or deadline you have for work.
Don’t feel guilty for making yourself a priority!
Being a HEALTHIER YOU is a need, not a dream!
