At Ultimate Performance Training, we are more than a gym.
We’re a support system, a second family, and a place where real people come to reconnect with their strength — physically, mentally, and emotionally. Sure, we have the equipment, the programming, and the coaching — but what truly sets us apart is how we make people
feel when they walk through our doors.
From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by name, high-fived like an old friend, and welcomed into a community that actually gets you. No egos, no judgment — just real people working hard, having fun, and cheering each other on.
This is a space where busy adults can show up exactly as they are — tired, stressed, unmotivated — and leave feeling recharged, empowered, and ready to take on whatever life throws at them. We coach with intention, care with heart, and celebrate progress in all its forms — not just pounds lifted or inches lost, but energy gained, confidence found, and consistency built.
You’re not just another member here. You're known. You're supported. You're seen. And in a world that often demands more than it gives, that matters.
At UPT, we don’t just train bodies. We build habits, boost confidence, and help you carry strength into every part of your life.
That’s why we say we’re more than a gym —"we’re where busy adults train for life."
Marc Manly is the guy who somehow makes sweating at 6AM feel like a good idea. As the founder of Ultimate Performance Training, he's part coach, encourager, and expert at helping busy adults get strong, stay consistent, and feel good in their own skin.
He’s been in the fitness game long enough to know that most people don’t need six-pack abs — they need to feel better, move better, and have someone remind them they’re doing a great job (even if their squat looked a little... creative today).
Marc knows the challenges adults face: long days, full schedules, sore backs, low energy — and he’s passionate about making fitness doable, sustainable, and even fun. Whether he’s coaching a workout, cracking a well-timed joke, or helping someone hit a personal best they never thought possible, Marc leads with connection, care, and a fierce belief that strength should serve your life — not run it.
He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, where he also played college basketball. He later earned his Master of Sports Science from the United States Sports Academy, and went on to collect a stack of industry-leading credentials, including Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA, Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) through the NASM, and advanced training in AppliedFunctional Science through the Gray Institute.
With a deep understanding of how the human body moves — and how modern life tends to wear it down — Marc combines cutting-edge training with a laid-back, welcoming vibe. Marc brings care, knowledge, and just enough sarcasm to keep things fun.
He lives in Pflugerville with his beautiful wife Bonnie, their 3 kids Chelsea, Stephon, and Jeremiah, and their black lab Molly.
